I know i’m a little late to the party, but i’ve just been watching the Macworld keynote. I just have to say that the if all this is possible then it could be the best gadget ever.

It’s just a shame that I won’t be able to afford one when they come out.

Windows Apps State

11 Oct

I was lucky enough to be bought a laptop by the company I now work for. It’s great i’ve always wanted one but never had enough money to be able to buy.

The only issue I have is that I would love to be able to have an app that remembers what apps I have open when i shutdown and be able to open them when I boot back up. It would be a great help if when ever I boot my laptop then I have it exactly how I left it.

I know there is an app called Relaunch for the Mac, this looks like exactly what I am looking for. I have searched for a Windows equivalent but not found anything. Does such an app exist?

Please someone leave a comment if you have found something that does this kind of thing or if you have any other suggestions.

iTunes Podcast New Items

13 Jun

I have 12 podcasts that I listen to, I've subscribe to most of them via the iTunes subscribe button on their websites. This is awesome if your new to podcasts and use iTunes.

One thing that i've just started to notice is that sometimes it takes forever for iTunes to recognise that there is a new podcast available. Why does this happen? I don't think it's my ISP cacheing the RSS feed as my feed reader seems to update new items in the feeds almost instantly.

Does anyone know why this happens? If you do leave a comment below.

Engadget – Pics of the new Macbooks. If only I could afford one.

Channel 4 – Big Brother starts tommorrow. I know it's rubbish but why doesn't that stop me watching it.
